When I was a kid, my grandmother was the President of the South Bay Association of Realtors and my memories go back to helping her canvas the neighborhood with flags for the 4th of July on each doorstep. While making congratulations baskets and delivering thank you notes, I witnessed the connection between community and the importance of my grandma’s role as a realtor. What I didn’t know then was that she was teaching me about the golden rules of life and real estate: listen to people so you can understand their wants and needs, treat everyone as you would want to be treated and most of all, make it happen with everything and anything you do in life.
For twenty years, my passion for high line cars led me to manage a car dealership. This is where I honed my people skills. Buying a car at any price point is an emotional experience for everyone and the respect I have for the process is palpable. Guided by my grandma’s teachings regarding how people should be treated, the service I offered people led me to a strong list of satisfied customers that have become long time friends. Luckily, one of these friendships became the woman I married and together, we’ve built a strong family built on trust and communication.
Eight years ago, it all came full circle when I decided it was time to live out my grandma’s legacy and return to real estate. With me, the person you get at home is the same person you get when purchasing the real estate of your dreams.
