A longtime resident of the Columbus Metro Area, Lee Ritchie has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2010. A former registered nurse, her decision to enter the real estate business came from a desire to provide the care she believes every home buyer or seller deserves. Lee brings a vast amount of experience to real estate, utilizing her background in both nursing and marketing research to best serve her clients. Her knowledge of marketing, combined with her natural ability to advise and nurture her clients, leaves them confident they’re in good hands. I want to let you know that Lee did an excellent job and I would highly recommend her for the sale of your home, especially in the Short North area. When we first spoke she mentioned her very short average turnaround time for a sale and I will admit I was a bit skeptical that we could do that in this (down) market and right before the holidays. Well she sure did prove me wrong! She managed to find buyers in less than 24 hours, on a snowy winter day, right before Christmas, and at a very fair asking price. (Oh, and all this while we were across the country...I currently live in California.) My husband and I had the pleasure to work with Lee on both the purchase and sale of our home, but this review is for the home sale. Before the home went on the market, Lee came over to walk through and suggested simple tasks we could complete to update the home and sell for top dollar. She then helped us to price the home just right so that it would sell quickly and would maximize our profit. The house was listed for just one day and we received four offers, three of which were over the asking price! Lee helped us negotiate with the buyers throughout the entire sale and helped us bring in a back up offer when the first deal fell through. Lee is always prompt and available. She responds immediately to texts, phone calls, and emails. I don't know how she does it! My partner and I had our unique urban condo listed with another realtor who was recommended by a friend prior to Lee. That realtor invested very little effort to hasten the sale of our condo. like to equate real estate process with being on a boat: it's an undulating journey of highs and lows, peaks and valleys, and there's bound to be a few rough waters. Just like a voyage at sea, it's of utmost importance to have a good Captain, steering and guiding the ship to make the ups and downs as level as possible. Lee Ritchie is EXACTLY the person you want guiding you during the home buying and selling process. I came upon Lee at an open house. I was probably never intending to buy the home at which we met, but was solely learning more about the market in which I intended to buy. To be honest, I've been "annoyed" by agents at open houses. They can often be too pushy, or not helpful enough. With Lee, I had a "goldilocks" moment, and knew I had found my "just right" real estate agent. She has the intangible qualities that anyone would want in real estate professional: 1. Unparalleled patience. Lee stayed consistently attentive and detail-oriented through a plethora of viewings. She gives her opinion and expertise when necessary, but lets the client fall in love on his or her own with a particular property. 2. Beginning-to-end expertise and care. From helping setting smart parameters to restrict what was initially a wider search, to exercising caution in the middle stage, to streamlining the paper-based nightmare that could have been my closing. There can't possibly be anyone better at this than Lee. Simply put, she's the total package. Lee listens to what you want and doesn't try to convince you of anything else. I was always confident she knew exactly what I was looking for. When viewing homes, more than once we would walk into a place, instantly look at each other and say 'Nah!' and walk out. She's energetic and won't waste your time. When we found the house that was right for me, we recognized it right away and knew the opportunity wouldn't last long. Lee jumped on it and made the deal happen. Lee is an expert communicator. She is always on the clock. We had phone conversations at 7 in the morning and at 11 on a Saturday night.
