Kayla Swanson, a proud Itasca County native, has built her career on a passion for serving her community and helping others achieve their goals. After graduating from Greenway High School in 2013, she earned her Associate of Arts degree from Itasca Community College in 2015 and went on to complete her Bachelor of Business Administration at Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI. In 2018, Kayla returned to Coleraine with her husband, where they have firmly established their roots and are raising their family.
Kayla began her professional journey with the Itasca Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) in 2019 as a Marketing Specialist, later advancing to Operations & Outreach Manager and then Finance & Operations Manager. In these roles, she demonstrated expertise in organizational management, financial oversight, strategic marketing, and relationship building-all driven by her commitment to collaboration and excellence.
Today, Kayla brings that same dedication to her role as Mortgage Loan Officer at Northview Bank, where she specializes in all types of real estate loans. Whether you’re purchasing your first home, refinancing, or investing in property, Kayla is passionate about guiding clients through the lending process with personalized service and local expertise.
Outside of her professional commitments, Kayla serves as Head Women’s Softball Coach at Minnesota North College – Itasca Campus, mentoring student-athletes and sharing her love for the game. She also enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and exploring Minnesota’s craft breweries and cideries. Most importantly, she treasures time with her husband, Jace, their son, Blake, their daughter, Elsie, and a supportive circle of family and friends.
