“A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.” (Jackie Robinson). Jim Agemy would realize this at an early age, both as a product of his upbringing and his instinct for serving others. As a child he loved sports, and later this passion would exceed his own experience and help to launch the college baseball careers of over 100 young men.

Jim grew up in Detroit, Michigan, one of five children. He had a very happy childhood, shaped by his parents and their values of service, solid work ethic, and entrepreneurship. Jim was an All State Basketball player in high school. However, he attended the University of Michigan on a baseball scholarship, where he became an All American. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates out of high school and then the New York Yankees while at Michigan. However, an injury ended his baseball career prematurely. Instead of allowing this circumstance to bring him down, he chose to leverage the leadership skills he learned and apply them to others through youth baseball…and real estate.

Jim’s Dad was a real estate investor and his sister was involved in new construction. So it was no surprise when Jim joined the industry, becoming a VP of Sales & Marketing for a national builder, where he specialized in marketing trends and building large, successful sales teams built on service. His new construction team was consistently recognized for very high client satisfaction scores, something Jim takes great pride in today. It’s also what contributed to the adoption of their mantra, ‘Serious About SOLD’.

Today, he and Kim are proud to own and operate Realty Consultants, an eXp Realty powered brokerage growing with serious agents. Kim is a licensed broker with an award winning history in new construction sales for one of the nation’s largest builders.
They’re now advocates for serious buyers & sellers who need serious agents that simply get a home SOLD. They’re recognized for their stress-free approach to preventing problems before they arise. They’re also known for their expansive knowledge and marketing solutions that sell a home fast and at full value. Together, Jim & Kim have successfully negotiated over $400 million in real estate transactions, and they’re currently growing a team of serious agents who deliver the unparalleled service their customers have come to expect.

Jim’s passion for family and real estate is not the only thing that defines his purpose. He’s had the privilege of coaching his sons their entire lives. He has also contributed his time and talent as the Treasurer of Detroit Metro Stars, a nonprofit organization that helps kids achieve their dream of playing college baseball and getting an education. Over the last 8 years alone, they have helped over 100 kids realize that dream. Yes, Jim is serious about the things that matter, and most importantly, the impact his actions have on everyone who crosses his path.
