When my wife and I decided to check out the Bullhead City/Fort Mohave area last May, we checked out the reviews of the local realtors in order to connect with one to show us real estate. Chris McDaniel's reviews were consistently high and the descriptions of the experiences with him were in line with what we thought we needed. We live out on the east coast, never lived in the west. Our only recent visits were to Las Vegas. We needed a local, who could level with us about the Mohave Valley area and the real estate market. We hit a home run with Chris. Chris was absolutely the best selection we could have made. He immediately understood what our needs were. We told Chris that our visit in May/June was a fact-finding mission and that it was highly unlikely that we would make an offer on anything. That did not put him off at all. Chris took the better part of two days spending time with us, showing us homes that he believed were representative of homes that would fit us, based on his interaction with us. We never felt pushed by Chris or that we were wasting his time. And, although he had other deals cooking, he never made us feel as though we were "lesser customers." Every time he took a call while we were looking at houses, he apologized for taking a call while working with us - very respectful of us the entire time. We also appreciated Chris' honesty in describing areas to us - again, he read us based on our interactions and got a great sense of what might work and what likely would not. Chris listens very well. After that fact-finding mission, with no offers made, Chris kept in touch with us over the subsequent months. Not in an obtrusive way, at all. By November, we decided that the Mohave Valley was were we wanted to winter. With a list of 5-7 houses we wanted to visit, we headed back out to the area in mid-December. Again, Chris was generous with his time - did not treat us at all as "tire kickers." We ultimately decided on the house we had to have. He worked with us to make the offer, receive the counter and make our counter. Chris stayed in contact with us the whole way through, as, ultimately, our counter was accepted. And then, after we headed back to the east coast, Chris's wife and business partner, Amber, stepped in. As far as walking us through the purchasing portion, Amber was unbelievable. Although we were a coast away, she made it feel as though we were right there. Amber was able to handle all of the things we would have had to deal with if we were there. You name it - home inspection, solar inspection, pest inspection, etc., etc, etc. She willingly handled it all and kept us fully abreast of what was happening and what needed to happen. Amber's communication skills in a virtual environment were beyond my expectations. She was our surrogate and served our interest so well. Bottom line...if you want to work with a great team that has your best interests at heart...a team that listens to you, is responsive to your needs, and literally "holds your hand" through the entire home purchasing process, we cannot recommend Chris McDaniel highly enough.
